I have decided to do a little contest of my own.
EVERYONE that has a DA account is allowed to participate in this contest.
RULES:
Art Has To Be Yours
Art can be from any date.
Art MUST incorporate rainbow colors.
ALL art such as Photography, photo-manipulations, paintings, drawings, digital art, fractals and even poems are allowed.
Up To Three (3) Submissions per deviant.
MUST send me a note with the thumb or link of the art that you are entering into the contest.
MUST put in the comments area of the art that you are entering: For the Rainbow Contest held by
Starting Date: NOW
Ending Date: Aug 28th 2012
Voting will be done by poll, this means that YOU the people will vote. NO ASKING FOR VOTES OR VOTING FOR YOURSELF.
All art will be put in a poll, the top voted one from each poll will be put into a final voting poll and at the end of that poll the winner will be the one with the most votes.
Once a piece of art has a good amount of votes more then the others, that piece of art will be chosen to go into the final voting poll along with the others that are chosen to go into the final poll.
The Winner of the contest must have at least 20 votes above the rest to be the ultimate winner at the end.

UP TO 50 favorites, depending on how many deviations you have.
I'll be putting up a donation pool and at the end of the contest however many points are collected for the contest are yours. (SO FAR 202 Points)

The cold concrete was beneath my feet,
All there was left in my heart was darkness.
As I looked to see the cloudy skies ready to cry,
I watched a huge arc of colors running up to them.
My eyes watered with joy and my heart rose to the heavens,
A rainbow was stretching across the vast land into the skies high.
Sprinting home to find my camera, I came out with a surprise,
The rainbow was gone and the sad skies came back.
I wasn't ready to give up as I wondered the land day and day,
Trying to find that rainbow the one who filled my heart with happiness.

I hope they are OK for the contest. I have a ton of rainbow colored stuff, so it's hard to pick out just 3. But, hopefully, these are acceptable.
